About this block

Membership Activity Log is the day grouped audit timeline for a workspace: joins, role changes, invites, team transfers, and removals across Today, Yesterday, and Jul 1, each entry pairing an event icon on a connected rail with the actor avatar, a detail line, and a timestamp. A type filter and an Export action sit in the header.

Events are grouped into typed day arrays, and the connecting rail draws between entries but stops at the last one in each group. Detail lines are optional and render only when present, so a plain role change reads in one line while a domain auto join carries its source underneath.

When to use

Reach for this block on the workspace audit or members settings page, wired to your membership events endpoint. Wire the type filter to your query and the Export button to a CSV job so admins can pull the full history for review.

A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:

Before

• Settings shell
• Team directory

After

• Notifications
• Users table

What you can display

One strong use is the membership audit timeline. Other activity log shapes:

• Security events. The same rail scoped to logins, password resets, and token grants.
• Billing history. Plan changes and seat edits grouped by day with an invoice link per row.
• Project activity. Membership events filtered to a single project with a project column added.

Tip: keep detail lines optional; forcing a second line on every event flattens the scan and buries the few entries that actually need context.
