Open Graph image templates

A new library of share card templates. Every template is a self contained ImageResponse route: satori renders its JSX to SVG at request time and serves it as a 1200 x 630 PNG, and every design also downloads as a PNG or raw SVG for use with any stack.

• New Ninety nine designs at launch covering article, product, commerce, event, developer, data, and people use cases, each in light and dark.
• New Each template has a live rendered preview, a guide covering setup and customization, and PNG plus raw SVG downloads.
• New A filter toolbar with search, category, and group dropdowns, plus nine crawlable category pages for browsing.
• New Install from the registry with npx shadcn add, the same one command flow as blocks. Included with Basic and Pro.

651 new blocks across the Standard collections

The largest drop yet. Six hundred and fifty one new blocks land across the four Standard collections, taking the catalog past 3,400 blocks in 266 groups. Every block ships with light and dark previews, a documentation page, and a one command registry install.

• New Marketing grows from 551 to 707 blocks: new heroes, pricing tables, comparison sections, calculators, localization, press, and partner sections.
• New Ecommerce grows from 600 to 756 blocks: checkouts, order tracking, product finders, gifting, repair and resale, restock, and returns sections.
• New Application grows from 500 to 683 blocks: dialogs, forms, settings pages, reports, stat cards, status and health panels, and inbox views.
• New Portfolio grows from 500 to 656 blocks: case studies, galleries, speaking pages, pricing, testimonials, and studio team sections.
• Improved AI search, llms.txt, and the public registry index are rebuilt to cover the full catalog, so every new block is searchable and installable immediately.

AI block search and MCP server

Describe the block you need in plain words and search finds it. AI search reads the whole catalog and ranks the closest blocks, on the site and now over MCP, so your AI assistant can find and install blocks too.

• New AI search on the blocks pages: describe the block you want in plain words and get ranked matches, each labeled with the reasons it matched.
• New Homepage search: a search bar under the hero types out example queries and hands your search off to the catalog.
• New AI Search MCP: a hosted MCP server that lets Cursor, Claude Code, and VS Code search the catalog in natural language and returns the install command for every match. Searching needs no API key.
• New AI Search MCP docs page with setup for Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code.
• Improved Search covers every collection in the catalog, from Curated to Free.

Three new Modern SaaS blocks

Three fresh sections join the Curated Modern SaaS collection: a full-fold hero, a split feature section, and a paired card grid. Each is built to the same standard and adapts to light and dark out of the box.

• New Planet Centerpiece: a full-fold hero with a centered SVG illustration flanked by a headline and CTAs on one side and a short statement on the other, over a logo strip.
• New App Workspace: a split feature section pairing an oversized display headline and a stat rail with a large app window mockup.
• New Illustrated Cards: a lead headline over two equal cards, each stacking an SVG illustration above a title and description.

CLI install, API keys, and team plans

The blocks you own now install straight from the command line. Set up the @shadcn-ui-blocks registry once with an API key and add any block by name, or let an AI assistant do it over MCP. A new account area, team plans, and full docs round it out.

• New Install blocks you own by name with the Shadcn CLI, authorized by your own API key.
• New Shadcn MCP support: browse and add blocks in natural language from Cursor, Claude Code, and VS Code.
• New New docs section covering getting started, the Shadcn CLI, and Shadcn MCP.

• New Team plans add up to 15 seats, with email invites for your whole team.

Three new collections and a free tier

Our Standard lineup is now four collections strong. Ecommerce, Application, and Portfolio join Marketing, each built to one consistent standard and together spanning over 2,000 blocks for real product and marketing pages. We also opened our earlier collections to everyone, free.

Marketing Pro is a refresh of our original Marketing collection, rebuilt from the ground up to a cleaner, more polished standard. All 100 blocks share one consistent style, so sections from different groups drop into the same page without rework, and together they cover the full marketing site from hero to footer.

• Improved The collection it replaces is now Marketing (Legacy) and stays available.

We're back: the relaunch
