Mentions Activity Feed is the personal activity surface in one block, a ruled panel headed by an Activity label and a Mark all read action, a row of All, Mentions, Reactions, and Threads filter chips, and five events collecting everything that touched you across chat. Maya Chen's mention in #eng-general, Jordan Lee's thread reply in #design-crit, Priya Nair's reaction in #releases, Sofia Reyes's escalation mention, and Avery Stone's follow up each show the actor avatar, the event type, the source channel, a quoted snippet, and a timestamp. A footer note counts the two unread items and states the 30 day archive rule.
Events are one typed array, and unread rows carry a tinted background and a dot beside the event icon. The filter chips scope the feed by type without leaving the panel.
Reach for this block as the activity or mentions inbox for a chat product, wired to your events endpoint with the filter chips bound to server side scoping and the Mark all read action clearing the unread state. Pair each snippet with a jump-to handler that opens the source message.
A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:

One strong use is the cross channel mentions inbox. Other activity feeds:
Tip: keep unread rows visually distinct with the tint and dot; a feed that reads the same read or unread makes the Mark all read action feel pointless.
