Thread Reply Panel is the side panel that keeps channel conversations readable at scale, the parent message from Maya Chen in #engineering displayed at the top, "Heads up: ACM-218 is merged and live on prod. Verified the webhook flow end-to-end. Marking it done," then a divider labeled "4 replies," followed by the replies from Avery Stone, Noah Park, Jordan Lee, and Maya Chen each with their own avatar and timestamp. A reply composer scoped to the thread sits at the bottom with an Enter hint and a Reply button.
The parent message and replies are separate const objects. Scoping the composer placeholder to "Reply in thread" is what distinguishes this panel from the main channel input.
Reach for this block as a right-side panel that slides in when a user clicks a message in a channel thread, wired to a thread ID. Pair it with a message thread or a channel list sidebar that supplies the channel context.
A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:

One strong use is the channel thread reply drawer. Other threaded panel shapes:
Tip: show the parent message at the top of every thread panel; users open threads from different channels and lose context without it.
