Pinned Messages Panel is the reference surface for the #eng-general channel, listing three pinned messages in a ruled panel. Avery Stone's feature freeze reminder (pinned by Priya Nair at Jun 12, 09:22), Priya Nair's staging webhook change notice (pinned by Avery Stone), and Jordan Lee's Q3 on-call rotation update each show the author avatar, snippet, sent time, pinned time and pinner, a Jump to message affordance, and an unpin button. A footer note explains that only admins and the original pinner can remove pins.
Pins are one typed array. The footer note prevents the where did my pin go support ticket by naming the removal rule up front.
Reach for this block as the pinned-messages drawer or panel for any channel, wired to your pins endpoint and a jump-to handler that scrolls the message timeline. Pair the unpin button with your permissions model.

Tip: the Jump to message link is not optional; without it a pinned snippet is a dead end that frustrates more than it helps.
