Plan Vs Actual is a schedule variance panel where each of five initiatives shows two stacked bars on a shared six month grid from April to September. A dashed bar marks the original planned window and a solid bar marks the actual or forecast window below it, with darker fill on rows running late. A slip badge on the right quantifies the delta, and a summary strip totals how many initiatives are on time, late, or early.
Items are one typed array with planned and actual start and end columns. Bars are positioned with CSS grid column spans and the slip badge variant is a record lookup, so no chart library is required.
Reach for this block on a delivery or portfolio review page wired to your planned and actual date fields. Use it when a retrospective needs to show not just what shipped but how far each initiative drifted from its original commitment.

Tip: the dashed plan bar and solid actual bar sit on the same grid so a reader sees the gap between commitment and reality without reading a single number.
