Thread Summary Card is the AI recap surface for a long discussion. The card opens with a short overview paragraph written from 47 messages in #launch-planning, then a checked list of the three decisions the thread reached, then a ruled block of action item rows carrying an owner avatar, the task, the owner name, and a due date. Regenerate and copy buttons sit in the header beside an AI summary badge and an updated timestamp. The footer is candid: the summary was written by AI, it does not modify the thread, and misread decisions happen, so skim the original before acting on one.
Decisions is a plain string array and actionItems is a typed array whose art field maps to a shared avatar component. The read-only framing plus the copy affordance is what makes the recap safe to paste into a doc without anyone mistaking it for the source of record.
Reach for this block at the top of a reopened thread, in a channel digest, or in a daily summary email surface. Wire Regenerate to your summarization endpoint and pass the same message set so a re-run reflects any new replies.

One strong use is the discussion thread recap. Other summary shapes:
Tip: keep decisions and action items in separate blocks so readers can scan outcomes and owners without hunting.
