About this block

AI Vs Hiring Me stacks five design tasks as full-width cards, each split into what the tools honestly get you and what hiring me adds on top. One row carries a small badge and concedes the task to the machines outright, so the section reads as an even-handed audit rather than a defensive pitch.

Rows render from one array of task, ai, and me fields, with an optional concede flag that swaps the emphasis and shows the badge. The distinctive choice is handing a full win to the AI column, which makes the other four comparisons land as judgment calls instead of marketing.

When to use

Reach for this block on a services or about page when prospects are already wondering whether a prompt could replace you. Rather than dodge the question, you answer it task by task and let the honest concession earn the trust the rest of the section spends. The installer rewrites each row with the tasks their own clients actually raise.

A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

What you can display

One strong use is a designer framing their value against AI tools. Other honest comparisons:

• Tool vs judgment. Split any workflow into what software automates and what the human decision adds.
• Draft vs shipped. Show where fast output ends and considered work begins on your own process.
• Cheap vs considered. Concede the tasks worth automating so the ones worth paying for stand out.

Tip: keep the conceded row. A comparison where you win every task reads as a sales page, and clients discount it the moment they notice.
