About this block

Base Testimonial is a single centered quote section. A short meta line names the speaker and their role, followed by a large blockquote that lets the words breathe across the full reading column. A secondary button with a play icon sits below the quote and links out to a supporting video.

The section has one logical piece of copy: the quote itself plus the one-line attribution. The video button is optional and can be removed or swapped for any other call to action. Because the layout holds a single voice, the quote length is flexible from a short punchy line to a two-sentence endorsement.

When to use

Reach for this block when one clear, authoritative voice is more persuasive than many smaller ones. It suits a landing page for an online education platform where a trusted instructor or a graduate speaks directly to prospective students, or any spot on a marketing page where the goal is to pause a reader and let a real endorsement land before a pricing table or a sign-up prompt.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing (Legacy) page:

Before

• Feature Sections to show what the product does before a customer confirms it works
• Stats to set up the numbers that the quote then brings to life

After

• Pricing Sections so a warm reader moves straight to choosing a plan
• CTA Sections to close the section with a direct next step

What you can display

The block frames a single powerful endorsement. A few ways to use that space well:

• A student or graduate outcome. Swap in a quote from someone who completed a course and saw a concrete result, with a link to their recorded story.
• An instructor recommendation. Let a well-known educator vouch for the platform and pair it with a short interview clip.
• A workplace sponsor. Show a quote from a team lead whose employees trained on the platform and pair it with a case study video.

Tip: keep the quote to two or three sentences so the large type stays comfortable at every viewport width without heavy scrolling.
