Split Layout is a two column subscribe section. The left column holds a full width photo that fills its cell and rounds at the corners. The right column stacks a heading, a short supporting paragraph, an email input with a visible label (screen reader only), a submit button, and a small privacy reassurance line beneath the form row.
The two columns are independent, so you can swap the image for any subject matter, rewrite the heading and body copy, and change the button label without touching the layout. The privacy note beneath the form can be removed or reworded to match your legal copy.
Reach for this block when a plain centered signup feels too thin for the space. It fits a mid page break on a developer tools marketing site, a dedicated newsletter landing route, or a section tucked between feature copy and a footer. Because it pairs a visual with the form, it holds attention longer than a text only row, and it gives you a surface to reinforce the offer with a relevant screenshot, diagram, or product photo rather than just words.
A natural flow around it on a Marketing (Legacy) page:

Any offer that benefits from a supporting visual alongside the form works well here. A few directions to consider:
Tip: keep the heading short, ideally under eight words, so it sits on one line and the right column stays visually balanced with the image.
