A horizontal filmstrip of thumbnails with a larger preview above. Ideal for browsing a photo set or product angles while keeping every frame in view.
Filmstrip Gallery is a horizontally scrolling row of film-frame cards. A centered heading and a short scroll prompt sit above the strip. Each card wraps an image in a black film frame with a row of sprocket holes at the top and bottom, an inner image area sized at a 3:2 ratio, a frame number label at the foot of the card, and a plain caption beneath it. Left and right arrow buttons appear at the edges of the row when more cards are hidden in either direction, fading in and out as you scroll.
The heading copy, caption text, and the number of image cards are all independent. You can shorten the strip to four or five frames, swap in your own photos, or rewrite the captions without touching the scroll logic or the frame styling.
This layout fits anywhere you want to surface a set of images in a compact horizontal band rather than a full grid. For a healthcare scheduling product it works well on a features or about page to show clinic interiors, patient consultation rooms, or onboarding walkthrough screenshots one frame at a time, letting visitors browse at their own pace. It is stronger than a single large carousel when you want all the frames partially visible so visitors can see the depth of the set before they start scrolling, and it is less imposing than a fullscreen gallery when the images support the page rather than lead it.
A natural flow around it on a Marketing (Legacy) page:

The strip suits any situation where you have a bounded set of images that belong to one topic. A few directions to consider:
Tip: keep captions short, one clause at most, so the strip stays tidy even when several frames are visible at once.
