Trade Up Comparison sets the item already in the cart beside the next model up and works through it spec by spec. Each row lines the two models up against each other, the rows that actually differ are weighted heavier than the rows that match, and one row is labeled the honest downside so the heavier model does not read as a pure win.
The models and specs are two small arrays, with a diff flag deciding which rows stand out. Both choices carry a button of equal weight, so keeping the cheaper bag is offered as seriously as trading up.
Reach for this block on a product page or in a cart when a customer is one clear step away from a better model and the gap is worth naming. The price delta and the downside row must be truthful or the comparison loses its credibility.

Tip: always keep the downside row; a comparison that only lists what the upgrade adds reads as a sales sheet, and the one honest cost is what makes the rest believable.
