About this block

Recently Viewed Row is browsing memory with manners, five compact cards, an X on every item, a clear all in the header, and a privacy footer that says where the trail lives, this device only, never tied to your email, expiring in 30 days. The dismissal controls are the manners.

Items are one array, the remove buttons carry per item aria labels. Wire to localStorage or your session store on install.

When to use

Reach for this block above the footer on listing and product pages once a session has history. The privacy footer matters more than it looks, recently viewed is where shoppers first notice being watched.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Any browsing content, this block follows the visitor around

After

• The footer or incentives

What you can display

One strong use is the session trail with dismissal. Other memories:

• Back in stock you viewed. The trail filtered to restocked items.
• Price dropped you viewed. Same trail, items now cheaper, with both prices.
• Continue your cart. Abandoned cart items as the row, same manners.

Tip: the X on each card is not decoration, the shopper hiding a gift from a shared screen is your customer too.
