Shipping Threshold Nudge shows a live progress bar toward the free shipping number and names how far the cart still is from it. Below the bar sit three small items sized to close exactly that gap, each with an add control that updates the subtotal, and the flat rate is offered as a fair alternative rather than hidden.
The threshold, subtotal, and flat rate are three constants, and the remaining amount and unlocked state are computed from what has been added. The footnote reminds the buyer that spending more to dodge shipping only pays if the items were wanted anyway, which keeps the nudge from turning into pressure.
Reach for this block in the cart or a slide out drawer where a subtotal is close to a free shipping threshold. The filler prices and the flat rate must be live or the arithmetic under the bar stops holding.

Tip: size the filler items to the real gap and no larger; a suggestion that overshoots the threshold by a wide margin reads as a push rather than a favor.
