Column Policy Board is the Acme engineering board with explicit stage policies: every column, Ready, In Progress, Review, and Done, carries a dashed entry policy panel that lists the criteria a card must meet before it can be pulled in. That keeps the definition of ready and done visible right where work changes stage, above the cards it governs.
Columns are a typed array where each carries its own policies list alongside its cards, so a stage and its rules stay together. The panel is plain markup driven by that array, which means editing a policy is a one field change and the shape stays consistent across every column.
Reach for this block when a team keeps disagreeing about when a card is allowed to move, typically a delivery board that wants its definition of ready and done in view rather than buried in a wiki. Wire the policies to your workflow doc so the board and the rules never drift apart.

Tip: keep each policy to a single checkable line; a criterion a person cannot verify at a glance gets skipped, and the gate stops meaning anything.
