About this block

Metrics Stat Grid is the numbers at a glance. Six KPI tiles carry the current value, a month over month delta line with a trend arrow, and a small illustrative sparkline, so a reader takes the whole company in before scrolling into the detailed charts. The lede names the promise, every figure a board deck would show, pulled straight from billing and posted for anyone to read.

The tiles are one array of label, value, delta, and a points string for the sparkline, pure markup and inline SVG with no chart library. The sparklines are indicative only, the footnote says so plainly, the exact series lives in the chart blocks below. Swapping in live numbers is a data edit, the layout never moves.

When to use

Reach for this block near the top of an open metrics page, right after metrics-intro-banner sets the terms and before the detailed charts begin. A snapshot grid gives skimmers the headline in one screen, then the charts reward anyone who stays to read the shape behind each number.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Metrics intro setting the why this snapshot answers

After

• Open metrics charts that expand each tile into its full series
• Open metrics table closing the page with the exact rows

What you can display

One strong use is the headline KPI snapshot of an open startup. Other grids:

• Impact snapshot. The top outcomes of a nonprofit report, each tile a program result.
• Status overview. Uptime, latency, and incident counts above a public reliability page.
• Fundraise metrics. The numbers an investor update leads with, published rather than emailed.

Tip: keep the tiles to the six a board would ask for first, a snapshot that lists everything stops being a snapshot.
