About this block

Churn Retention Charts publishes the numbers that hurt. Two shadcn panels sit side by side, monthly logo churn as bars and net revenue retention as a line, each headed by its current value, and the lede points at the blemish on purpose, March was a bad month, it stays on the chart. The pairing matters, churn alone scares, retention alone brags, together they tell the truth.

Both panels are ui/chart with single key configs, two small data arrays to swap. The NRR axis is domain clamped so the line moves visibly within its honest range instead of flattening against zero.

When to use

Reach for this block on open metrics pages after the growth charts, publishing the uncomfortable pair is what separates transparency from marketing. Buyers and candidates both read it as confidence. It completes the set with mrr-growth-chart and user-growth-line, growth, composition, and quality.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Growth charts earning the right to show the hard numbers

After

• Open metrics table with the exact monthly values
• Letter from founder for the commentary the numbers deserve

What you can display

One strong use is churn beside NRR for a subscription business. Other honest pairs:

• Refund rate and NPS. The two satisfaction numbers, published together.
• Incident count and MTTR. Reliability honesty for an infrastructure product.
• Hiring and attrition. People metrics for a company serious about its careers page claims.

Tip: leave the bad month visible and name it in the lede, the blemish is what authenticates everything else on the page.
