About this block

Growth Milestones Timeline is the story behind the numbers. A centered heading opens onto a vertical timeline where each dated milestone carries a title, a short honest note, and a pill stamped with the MRR at the time, from opening the books to where the company sits today. The lede sets the tone, no step skipped and no rewriting the slow parts.

The milestones are one array of date, title, description, and MRR, rendered as an ordered list with a token dot and connector line, text and tokens only. The MRR stamp on every row ties the narrative back to the charts, so the timeline reads as a caption for the data rather than a separate marketing tale.

When to use

Reach for this block after the charts on an open metrics page, once mrr-growth-chart and its siblings have shown the shape and the reader wants the why behind the curve. A timeline turns a line chart into a history, the dates where growth turned matter more than the slope between them.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Open metrics charts showing the curve this timeline annotates

After

• About sections carrying the fuller story these milestones sketch
• Footers closing the page

What you can display

One strong use is the growth history of an open startup. Other timelines:

• Funding history. Rounds and valuations dated for an investor transparency page.
• Product milestones. The releases that moved the numbers, for a changelog or roadmap recap.
• Impact history. The moments a nonprofit crossed each reach mark, stamped with people served.

Tip: stamp every milestone with the number it moved, a date without a figure is a press release, not a receipt.
