About this block

Conversion Funnel Metrics shows how a visitor becomes a customer. A split layout pairs a headline column with a funnel panel of four proportional bars, visitors to signups to activated workspaces to paying customers, each step labelled with the rate that carried it forward. The lede owns the honesty, most companies guard these rates, this page would rather show where it leaks.

The stages are one array of name, count, and bar width, the facts another of label and value, pure markup with no chart library. Bar lengths use a square root scale so the small later stages stay visible while the counts stay exact. The activation note defines the one word most funnels leave fuzzy, so the numbers mean the same thing to every reader.

When to use

Reach for this block among the charts of an open metrics page, after the topline mrr-growth-chart has set the total the funnel explains. A funnel answers the question every growth number raises, where does the traffic go, and naming the leak reads as confidence rather than weakness.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Open metrics charts establishing the totals this funnel breaks down

After

• Pricing where the last funnel step is actually sold
• Open metrics table closing with the exact rows

What you can display

One strong use is the acquisition funnel of an open startup. Other funnels:

• Signup to activation. The onboarding steps a product report wants to expose and improve.
• Applicant pipeline. Applied to hired stages for a careers or impact page.
• Donation funnel. Visitors to donors for a nonprofit transparency report.

Tip: label every step with the rate, not just the count, the conversion between stages is the story the raw totals hide.
