Traffic Sources Donut shows the acquisition mix with the strategy attached. A shadcn donut with legend and tooltip splits visitors across four sources in the grayscale chart tokens, and the notes column interprets the three slices worth talking about, the compounding organic engine, the earned referrals, and paid kept deliberately small. Composition plus commentary, neither alone.
Built on ui/chart with per slice config keys, the data array and notes are the edits. The inner radius keeps it a donut, and the nameKey wiring makes tooltip and legend read source names rather than keys.
Reach for this block on open metrics pages and marketing transparency posts, the channel mix is the number marketers actually gossip about. The notes make it strategy rather than analytics exhaust. It pairs with user-growth-line upstream, how many, then from where.
A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

One strong use is the visitor mix with channel strategy notes. Other donuts:
Tip: write a note only for slices with a decision behind them, annotating everything turns strategy back into reporting.
