Founder Letter is a narrow reading column with a headline, a salutation, and three short first person paragraphs, closed by a serif signature above the founder's portrait, name, and role. A dated republishing note sits to the right of the signature. The letter format carries the origin story with more intimacy than standard about copy.
The body is plain prose you replace with your own, the origin, the bar the company holds itself to, and the invitation to write back. The dated note, first written and last revised, signals the letter is maintained rather than frozen, so it reads as a promise the founder still keeps.
Reach for this block on about pages where the founder's voice is the differentiator, founder led companies, anniversary moments, and annual reviews the reader is meant to trust. It differs from a mission statement by being personal and signed rather than institutional.

One strong use is a founder letter rewritten and dated each year. Other letters:
Tip: keep it short and sign it, three honest paragraphs in a real voice outperform a page of polished mission copy.
