About this block

Missed Delivery Playbook lays out a centered heading over three ordered attempt cards. Each card carries an icon, a step label (First, Second, Third), the attempt itself, and the limit that ends it: the safe spot photographed, a named neighbor tried, then the depot held for seven days. The tone is a promise about what a driver will and will not do at your door, with every outcome written to the tracking page as it happens.

Attempts are a single array; each entry pairs a detail with its limit so no step reads as a blank promise. The closing line names the one thing that never happens, a parcel left in plain sight to flatter a delivery rate, which turns the list into a standard rather than a hope.

When to use

Reach for this block on the order tracking page the moment a first attempt fails, or on the post purchase confirmation where delivery expectations get set. The three steps must match the carrier contract behind them or the promise reads hollow.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

What you can display

One strong use is the three attempt courier script. Other missed delivery playbooks:

• Locker handoff. The safe spot step swapped for a nearby locker with the pickup code and its hold window.
• Signature required. Each attempt names who may sign and what happens when nobody can.
• Cold chain order. The limits rewritten around a chilled parcel that cannot wait at a depot.

Tip: naming the one thing that never happens turns a delivery list into a promise you can be held to.
