About this block

Packaging Recycling Guide runs a left aligned heading and intro over a four tile grid, one tile per material that shipped in the box. Each tile pairs an icon with what the material actually is, a bin badge, and a short disposal note: the corrugated outer box, the kraft paper wrap, the starch tape that stays on the seam, and the plastic that was never there.

Materials are a single array; the bin lives in a Badge so the answer reads before the explanation does. The last tile is the point of the whole block, no film anywhere, which lets the closing line make its single stream claim honestly.

When to use

Reach for this block on the post purchase confirmation or inside the sustainability area where packaging claims get made. Every bin named has to match the material actually shipping or the guide misleads at the recycling crate.

What you can display

One strong use is the four material box breakdown. Other packaging guides:

• Compostable mailer. A single tile for the film free bag with its home compost window stated.
• Returns friendly box. The outer box reframed as the return carton it was built to become.
• Cold pack disposal. The gel pack named with the drain safe or bin step that actually applies.

Tip: one material stream on purpose means the whole box goes in one bin and the tape argument never happens.
