Goal Selection Step is step 1 of 4 in the onboarding flow, four tiles (Track metrics, Manage tasks, Collaborate, Automate) each with an icon and a one-line description of what that choice surfaces first. Track metrics is pre-selected with a filled check badge, and the footer note reads exactly: this only orders your sidebar. Every feature is available from Settings regardless of what you pick here.
Goals are one typed array so every tile carries the same keys including selected: false on the unchosen three. The honest disclaimer at the bottom is what earns the skip link the right to exist; without it users worry the choice is permanent.
Reach for this block at the start of a multi-step workspace setup, wired to a state value that drives your sidebar sort order on next. Place it inside a wizard shell that tracks current step.

Tip: the disclaimer copy is load-bearing; it converts an anxious choice into a reversible preference.
