About this block

Digest Settings Card lets a user trade the stream of notification emails for one summary, a frequency picker (Off, Daily, Weekly) with a one line consequence each, an include list of four sections as labeled switches, and the honest footer that does the reassuring, digests pause while you are active in the app, so a busy day never doubles up.

A client block, the frequency choice dims the include list when Off. Frequencies and sections are two arrays. The pause-while-active line is the difference between a digest people keep and one they mute.

When to use

Reach for this block in notification settings beside the per-type controls, wired to your digest scheduler. The pause-while-active promise needs real presence tracking to keep.

A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:

Before

• Notification settings inline

After

• Unread digest card

What you can display

One strong use is the activity digest control. Other digest cards:

• Team digest. A manager version summarising the whole team instead of one person.
• Report schedule. The same shape pointed at scheduled reports rather than activity.
• Quiet hours. Frequency plus a do-not-disturb window with its timezone.

Tip: a digest that pauses when you are present is the rare setting that earns trust by doing less.
