First Run Checklist Empty is the new-workspace dashboard before any data exists. Instead of placeholder charts it shows a panel titled Set up your workspace with four steps, Invite your team, Connect a data source, Create your first dashboard, and Set up an alert. The first is checked off; the other three carry a detail line and a Start button. A Progress bar and the fraction 1 of 4 complete sit above the list, and the honest footer reads: Charts, tables, and KPI cards appear above once there is data to show. Nothing is hidden; the panels simply do not exist yet.
Steps are one typed array with a done boolean steering the icon and the strikethrough. The footer copy is what stops the support ticket that asks where the dashboard went.
Reach for this block as the Day 1 state of any overview dashboard, wired to your onboarding completion endpoint. Replace the static done flag with a server value so the checklist ticks itself as each step is finished.

Tip: the honest footer is load-bearing; without it the empty dashboard looks broken rather than incomplete.
