Comment Sidebar is the doc-collab panel, four threads anchored to quoted passages from the Acme API reference: Priya Nair asking whether the error envelope shape belongs alongside the data key note, Jordan Lee flagging the opaque cursor without a spec link, and Avery Stone calling out the tighter staging rate limit so devs are not surprised. The fourth thread, Maya Chen adding the HMAC signature sample, is resolved and collapsed to a single line: resolved by Noah Park, yesterday at 16:22.
Threads are one typed array. The resolved thread carries the same shape with resolvedBy and resolvedByAvatar set, keeping the diff branch in the render simple. The footer note tells users exactly where collapsed threads live, which halves the where did my comment go tickets.
Reach for this block as the comment rail of any collaborative document surface, wired to your threads endpoint and user session. Bind Resolve to your thread-close mutation and Reply to open the composer.

Tip: the resolved row earns its collapsed state by naming who resolved it and when, which is enough for most audits without reopening.
