Dm Thread Panel is the complete 1:1 surface in one block, a header showing Priya Nair with her avatar, a presence dot, and "Active 3 minutes ago," a thread of four message groups tracing an incident where a Stripe signing secret rotation broke the billing webhook (ACM-224), and a full composer bar with Paperclip, Smile, and AtSign affordances plus a Send button. The final outgoing bubble from Avery Stone carries a CheckCheck read receipt. A typing indicator appears at the end of the thread before the composer.
Messages are one array of sender groups. Combining header, thread, and composer in one block means you can drop a DM surface into a shell without wiring three separate blocks together.
Reach for this block when the whole DM interaction lives in a single panel, wired to your thread endpoint and WebSocket for the typing state. Use the standalone message thread and message composer separately when the thread panel is part of a wider split-panel layout.
A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:

Tip: the "Messaging as Avery Stone" footer anchors the signed-in identity without taking space inside the thread itself.
