Revenue Area Chart shows monthly recurring revenue split into two stacked series, new business and expansion, across January through August. The Y axis formats in dollars with a compact $14k style tickFormatter, and the panel description names the window precisely: new business and expansion MRR added each month, January through August. The footnote carries the story the chart implies but cannot say on its own, expansion overtook new business in April and has led every month since.
The two series live in one chartData array. Stacking them instead of overlapping is the right call here because the reader needs the combined MRR total at a glance, not just the relative size of each source.
Reach for this block on an MRR or growth dashboard, wired to your billing endpoint that returns new and expansion revenue per month. Keep the comparison window consistent or the stacking will mislead.
A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:

One strong use is the MRR growth breakdown by source. Other stacked area charts:
Tip: the footnote is where you explain the crossover or the anomaly, leave it blank and someone will file a bug.
