Refund Status Card tracks a $96.00 partial refund on the Jun 1, 2026 charge back to VISA ending 4242, requested Jun 10 and expected by Jun 20. A four-stage pipeline (Requested, Approved, Processing at the bank, Returned to card) renders each stage as a check, active dot, or empty ring, with timestamps for done stages and “In progress” for the current one. The muted footer note names the delay honestly: 5 to 10 business days is the bank, not us.
Stages are one typed array with a done or current or upcoming state driving both the icon and the text colour. The footer separates what the product controls from what the bank controls.
Reach for this block on the billing detail page when a refund is open, wired to your refund record and its status stages. Update the current stage pointer as your processor webhooks report progress.
A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:

One strong use is the in-progress partial refund. Other refund states:
Tip: the expected-by date in the meta row and on the final stage note is the reassurance users are looking for; do not omit it while the refund is processing.
