Status Change Log is the lifecycle log for ACM-218, Performance regression on /api/v2/usage: a vertical timeline of three transitions, each on a ruled row with a connector line. Noah Park created the ticket as Open on Jun 7; Priya Nair moved it to In progress on Jun 8 after 1 day open; Priya moved it to In review on Jun 11 after 3 days in progress. The current state pin at the bottom shows 3 days in review so far. The current state badge uses secondary; prior states use outline.
Transitions are one const array with from, to, actor, time, and duration fields. The footer makes the honesty explicit: status history cannot be edited or deleted.
Reach for this block on the detail page of a ticket, request, or project, wired to your state-transition event log. Render the current state from your entity record, not from the last transition row, so they always agree.
A natural flow around it on an Application Pro page:
Before
After
One strong use is the ticket lifecycle log. Other uses:
Tip: time-in-state durations are the insight; without them the log is just a list of what happened, not where things got stuck.
