Comment Thread Panel is the collaborative annotation layer for any entity, three comments with avatars where Priya Nair replies nested one level beneath the question Avery Stone asked about the old Starter price. Midway down the thread a resolved marker row sits inside a muted inset, Maya Chen resolved this thread, 2 hours ago, with a Reopen affordance beside it. Jordan Lee adds a note after resolution to cover the FAQ copy. The composer at the bottom is a Textarea with a Comment button and an @ Kbd hint for mentions.
Comments split into two arrays around the resolved marker. The nested reply, resolved row, and post resolution comment each render differently from one shared shape, keeping the visual grammar clear.
Reach for this block on any detail page that carries a thread: documents, tasks, pull requests, or invoices. Wire the composer to your comments endpoint with the entity id in the POST body, and wire Reopen to a PATCH on the thread status field.
