Audit Export Card is the compliance export form: a date range (2026-05-01 to 2026-06-13), a scope selector showing All events and the event count (4,812), three format toggle buttons (CSV selected, JSON, NDJSON), and a compliance callout that states the uncomfortable truth plainly: exports are logged as audit events in the same log you are exporting, and the log cannot be removed by an export action. Retained for 7 years per SOC 2 policy.
The config is one object. The compliance note is not a legal disclaimer to skim; it is the answer to the question every auditor asks, so it lives in the card rather than a tooltip.
Reach for this block on the security or compliance settings page, wired to a signed download URL endpoint scoped to the requesting user and their access level. Gate the button by role; Members should not export workspace-wide events.
