About this block

Greatest Hits centers a heading and a short pitch above a two by two grid of the most opened issues in the archive. Each card carries a topic badge, an issue number, a title, a one line summary, and its open rate, and the whole card is a link. The labeled email form sits beneath the grid with a cadence note about send rhythm and a free archive.

The four issues are a single array, so the installer edits titles, summaries, and open rates in one place. Leading with proven work rather than a promise is the distinctive detail: visitors sample the strongest letters before they decide whether the archive earns a subscription.

When to use

Reach for this block on a dedicated newsletter page or a writing archive with enough history that a best of grid carries real weight. The installer swaps the four issues and the heading; a new newsletter with a thin archive should reach for Newsletter Signup instead.

What you can display

One strong use is a design letter leading with its four most read issues. Other configurations:

• Six card grid. Add a second row of two for a deeper archive with more topics on show.
• Photography highlights. Swap the topic badges for series names and the open rates for view counts.
• No metrics. Drop the open rate line and let the titles and summaries carry the pitch on their own.

Tip: choose the four issues by how they read, not only by open rate; a strong title and summary sell the voice better than a high percentage next to a weak headline.
