Newsletter With Archive lets visitors read three past issues before they subscribe: a ruled list of titled rows with dates links to "The case for fewer components" (June 1), "What wireframes are actually for" (May 15), and "Designing for the support ticket you never want filed" (May 1), then the email form, then the cadence and unsubscribe note below. The archive-first order is the distinctive detail: it treats the subscription as something earned by the content rather than asked for up front.
The pastIssues array drives the ruled list, each row a link with a hover underline. Dates use tabular-nums to keep the column tidy.
Reach for this block on a standalone newsletter page or at the end of a blog index where the sample issues are the page itself. The installer swaps the pastIssues array with their three most recent titles and links.

Tip: use the three most interesting titles in the array, not the three most recent, the goal is to earn the subscribe click.
