Split Newsletter gives the left column to the pitch and a ruled list of four recent issue titles, When constraints are the brief, The spec no one reads, Empty states are not empty, and Three ways a component dies, each with a date. The right column holds a card with the signup form and a three-row detail strip: cadence twice monthly 1st and 15th, length 600 to 900 words per issue, readers 2,400 plus designers and product leads. The reader list count turns the right column into its own proof.
A recent issues array and a form card balance the two columns per the split-layout rule. The issue titles show a consistent point of view before asking for an email; that earns the subscription.
Reach for this block on a dedicated newsletter page or a writing section where the newsletter is the primary offer. The installer swaps the pitch, the four recent titles with dates, and the three detail rows for their own numbers.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

One strong use is the pitch-and-form split for a design writing newsletter with a back catalogue. Other uses:
Tip: four recent issue titles do more than a paragraph of description, they prove the newsletter already exists and has a voice.
