First Week Steps lowers the bar to joining by mapping the first seven days. A centered heading and lede reassure the reader that nobody expects a post on day one, then a row of four numbered steps follows, each with a day label in mono, an action title, and one line on what to expect. A Start day one button and a free forever note close it.
The steps are one array with numbers derived from index. Honest day labels and expectations, a median first reply in nineteen minutes, recordings posted the next morning, beat a generic getting started list. The closing button converts the reassurance into a click while the note reminds the reader the room is already full.
Reach for this block on community pages built to convert lurkers into members. The fear is looking foolish or wasting a week, and a path that names the timing and the payoff of each step answers both. It also works as the onboarding map for a cohort or program with a real week one.
A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Tip: name the first reply time, the number that removes the fear of being ignored converts better than any welcome promise.
