About this block

Community Guidelines Split earns trust with enforcement rather than decoration. The left column carries the headline, a short lede, and three moderation facts on a divided list, elected volunteer mods, a median report to removal time, and a public ban count, closed by a read the full charter link. The right column is a divided card of four numbered house rules, each a title and one line of exactly what gets you removed.

The facts and rules are two small arrays. The numbers in mono make the card scannable, and the enforcement lines under each rule are what turn a wish list into a policy. Real ban counts and median times do the persuading, so keep them honest and slightly uneven rather than round.

When to use

Reach for this block on community pages where moderation is a selling point, not an afterthought. Newcomers weigh whether the room is safe before they post, and a charter that names its consequences answers that faster than any welcome copy. It also reassures the people already inside that the rules apply to the team too.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Community stats proving the room these rules protect

After

• Contributor grid showing who thrives under them
• CTAs inviting the reader to join on those terms

What you can display

One strong use is forum house rules with moderation stats. Other charters:

• Event code of conduct. Numbered rules with an organizer response commitment.
• Platform content policy. What gets removed, with real takedown numbers.
• Open source norms. Contribution rules paired with maintainer response times.

Tip: publish the ban count, a policy nobody has ever enforced reads as theater and converts like it.
