Journal Newsletter Signup splits the pitch from the proof, an email form on the left promising one issue every other month with no launches or discount codes, and the last five subject lines on the right so a reader sees exactly what lands before handing over an address. The form keeps its label above the field, and the helper line names the readership and the one click unsubscribe.
The pitch and the recent issues are separate arrays. Showing real subject lines beside the signup is the conversion move, proof of substance in place of a promise.
Reach for this block at the foot of the journal page, once the reader has seen the work and wants the next issue delivered. The recent subjects must be genuine, a strong archive on the right earns the subscribe on the left.
