Materials Deep Dive Article lays out the 18 oz canvas argument in journal format: a byline crediting the buyer who picks the canvas (Marta Oliveira, nine minute read), two prose paragraphs, a spec callout card mid article with four contract rows (cloth, weight, mill, finish), a Placeholder image with a caption from the cutting table, and a closing paragraph that names the trade offs without apology: 1.2 kg empty, a break in year, and the deliberate decision behind both. The closing sentence earns the whole piece: “This article exists so you can make it on purpose too.”
The spec array has four rows. The article is page like, using h1 for the title and mt-3 for the byline, which is why the lede skips sm:text-lg.
Reach for this block inside the journal section as the materials editorial template, linked from a product overview where the canvas spec is relevant. The mill, weight tolerance, and wax figures must match the actual supply contract or the spec box contradicts the prose.

One strong use is the canvas weight and mill argument. Other deep dive articles:
Tip: the closing trade off paragraph, naming the weight and the break in year, is what separates editorial from product copy and what earns the reader who needed to know before buying.
