Cart Reminder Opt In spells the whole abandoned cart email out as a four step timeline before asking for consent. From the moment the cart is saved at 0 h, to the single reminder at 24 h, to the deliberate silence at 25 h, to the day both cart and address are deleted at 7 d, the opt in is for a known quantity rather than an open ended sequence.
Timeline is one array, one row per step with its hour marker. The footer draws the line the genre usually blurs: this address is used for the one email and nothing else, and it never joins the newsletter unless the buyer signs up for that separately.
Reach for this block inside the cart flow, under the shopping cart, as the consent step before a reminder is ever sent. The deletion clock must be real; if the address quietly persists past 7 d, the timeline becomes a tactic and the trust it earns is spent.

Tip: naming the practice the block refuses, the discount ladder and the last chance subject line, does more for conversion than any incentive stacked on the reminder.
