Extended Returns Banner is a bg-card band with a ring-1
border that states the holiday policy in a lead line
(“Holiday returns run long this year”) and lays
the specifics out as three plain fact columns: the purchase
window that qualifies, the standard 30 day window, and the
extended January 31 deadline. A scope line underneath handles
the edge cases, gift receipts and final sale, and a link
carries the buyer to the full policy.
The three facts come from a small array, so shifting a date or adding a fourth condition is one line. The scope sentence does the honest work: stating that final sale stays final and that the store says so before checkout keeps the extended offer credible instead of reading as a loophole.
Reach for this block in the weeks around the holidays, at the top of the store below the store navbar or inline on a product page for gift eligible items. The extended deadline it names must match the returns flow it links to, or the promise falls apart at the return step.
A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

One strong use is the three column holiday window. Other extended return variants:
Tip: stating the final sale scope in the same band as the extended deadline does more than any generous headline, because the buyer sees the limit before they rely on it.
