About this block

Customs Duties Notice is a slim border-b band led by a globe icon and a heading that rules out surprise charges at the door (“here is exactly what you pay”). Below it, one row per region states who collects what, from VAT inclusive checkout pricing in the EU and prepaid UK duties over £135 to the US de minimis line and carrier collected charges everywhere else. A link closes the band to the full duties and taxes table.

The regions come from a small array, so adding a market or updating a threshold is a single line. The row format is the point: pairing each region with the exact party that collects the charge turns a vague worry about customs into a clear line item the buyer can plan around before they order.

When to use

Reach for this block near the top of an international product page or checkout, below the store navbar or beside an international section. The thresholds it quotes must track the store's live duty handling, since buyers will hold the store to the numbers.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

What you can display

One strong use is the region by region duty breakdown. Other duties notices:

• Single market. One destination country, the threshold and the collector named, for a store that ships to one place.
• DDP promise. A flat statement that all duties are prepaid at checkout, with no per region rows at all.
• Estimate helper. A rough percentage range per region so buyers can budget before the carrier invoice arrives.

Tip: naming the party that collects each charge does more than any “taxes may apply” line, because the buyer learns whether the cost lands at checkout or the door.
