Custom Or Shelf is the qualifier that talks a buyer out of custom when the shelf already answers. Three questions (does a standard size fail you, is the color the whole reason, can you wait eight weeks) each get a card with the shelf answer and the custom answer set side by side, so the honest path is obvious before any deposit is taken.
Data is a questions array mapped into a three column grid, each card splitting the shelf case from the custom case. The closing bar that about half of intake ends at the shelf, counted as a win, is what makes the qualifier read as advice rather than a funnel.
Reach for this block early in the custom orders section, as the gate before intake, after the queue status sets the wait. The half to the shelf claim must match reality or the whole honest framing collapses.
