Portrait Category Scroller lays all eight aisles into one horizontally snapping strip of tall portrait tiles, each with a caption bar under the image carrying the name, style count, and price floor. Pure CSS scroll snap drives the slide, so it works without a line of JavaScript.
Aisles are one array of names and meta lines, each tile a placeholder crop until real photography lands. The caption bar sits under the image rather than over it, per the collection's no overlay rule, which keeps labels readable on any crop.
Reach for this block when you have more aisles than a grid row holds and want them all reachable in one swipe rather than folded behind a menu. It reads well on touch and keeps a long taxonomy compact between heavier sections.

Tip: portrait crops flatter apparel and full body shots, if your category imagery is packshot flat, the tiles grid serves you better.
