About this block

Occasion Tiles cuts the catalog by life situation, the commute, the trip, the desk, the weekend outside, with pitch lines that sell the situation rather than the products. The lede carries the thesis, categories are for warehouses, these cuts are for people.

Occasions are one array. The office that became a desk is the naming register, situations described the way people describe them.

When to use

Reach for this block on the home page as a second navigation layer after standard category tiles, or as the primary cut for lifestyle led stores. Each tile should land on a curated edit, not a filtered grid.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Category tiles for the warehouse view first

After

• Collection list rows as the text sibling
• Editorial grid

What you can display

One strong use is the four week shapes. Other cuts:

• By weather. Rain, heat, and the in between, for outerwear stores.
• By room. Kitchen, desk, hallway, for home goods.
• By stage. First apartment, first kid, first house, the life chapter cut.

Tip: occasion tiles work when the photography shows the situation, not the product, the bag in the rain, not the bag on white.
