Display Preferences Panel reproduces the site display settings as a static card: a three step text size control with the middle step selected, then reduce motion, increase contrast, and underline links as drawn toggles, each with its state written beside it. The panel footer promises the choices are stored on the device only, with reset returning everything to the browser defaults.
The promises array drives the three checked items beside it: browser settings honored first, choices kept without an account, and checkout inheriting every preference including the card fields a payment partner renders. The closing note credits a real request, “underline links was added in March because two people asked in the same week.”
Reach for this block on the accessibility page after the keyboard and screen reader guide, or on a help page introducing the panel itself. Every toggle shown must exist on the live site, a drawn setting the real panel lacks is a promise the first visitor breaks.

Tip: the promise that checkout inherits everything is the one to verify hardest. Payment iframes are where text size settings quietly die, and where shoppers notice most.
