Role References

About this block

Role References pairs each role in a work history with a short quote from the person who managed it. Every card carries the company, title, and year range, a quoted line on what it was like to have the candidate on the team, and the manager or founder named beneath with an avatar. It turns a self reported list into three vouched chapters.

References are one const array, each rendering a card with the role header, a ruled blockquote, and a figure caption built from the shared Avatar component. A line under the grid offers full written references on request. The named source is the distinctive part, since a quote with a face behind it carries more than a bullet ever could.

When to use

Reach for this block on an about page or a resume page where a visitor already trusts the work and wants to know who will back it. The installer swaps every role, quote, and referee for their own, keeping each line in the words of the person who managed the work.

What you can display

One strong use is the history vouched for role by role. Other reference shapes:

• Client quotes. One card per client with a line on the engagement and the result.

Tip: name the referee and the role together so each quote reads as accountable rather than anonymous.
