About this block

Influences About is the formative influences about, four things that shaped a practice, each typed as a book, a mentor, a discipline, or a place with one sentence on what it taught. A book about taste as a practice, a first creative director's note to show the thinking, two years of letterpress classes, and a winter working from a public library reading room. Naming what each one left behind is the distinctive choice: it turns a credentials list into a real intellectual lineage.

The influences are one array of four objects with type, title, and lesson, rendered as a two-column ruled grid below a heading and a short setup. Each cell carries an outline badge for the type, so a visitor can scan the four sources before reading a single lesson.

When to use

Reach for this block as the origins or inspiration section of an about page, particularly for a maker who wants to be understood by their references rather than their resume. The installer swaps all four influences and lessons for the ones that actually shaped how they work.

What you can display
