About this block

Split Headline Accordion divides the section into a three-column grid. The left third holds a bold heading and a short lede paragraph that sticks in place while a reader scrolls, so the framing text stays visible throughout. The right two thirds contain a single-column accordion of seven questions, each expanding on click to show a plain text answer beneath a hairline divider.

The sticky left column and the accordion list are independent. You can rewrite the heading and lede to match your product, add or remove accordion items freely, and the layout adjusts without any structural changes. Nothing about the block is hardwired to the demo copy.

When to use

Reach for this block on a dedicated FAQ section for a project management workspace where readers need to work through several questions in one sitting. The sticky heading keeps context anchored while a visitor opens and closes multiple items, which makes it more useful than a simple centered accordion when the question list is long. It reads more structured than the Wide Accordion Bold layout and more focused than the multi-topic Category Columns block.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• A pricing section so readers arrive at the FAQ already thinking about plans and billing
• A features section to establish what the product does before questions arise

After

• A CTA block to catch readers who just had their objections resolved
• The With CTA Banner sibling if you want a support prompt immediately below the answers

What you can customize

The block separates editorial and structural concerns cleanly, so the most common changes are all copy swaps:

• Heading and lede. The left column holds a single headline and one short paragraph, so you can reframe the entire section with two edits.
• Accordion items. The question list is a plain array, so adding, removing, or reordering questions does not touch the layout or the sticky column logic.
• Answer depth. Each answer is a short prose string, so you can keep answers brief for scanning or expand them with a sentence or two when a topic needs more detail.

Tip: keep the heading short enough to sit on one or two lines at large sizes so the sticky column stays compact and does not crowd the accordion.
